founding

On March 14, 1990, 13 participants met in the classroom of the fire station to found the fruit and horticultural association in Langgöns. It was the 50th club of its kind in the Gießen district. Dietrich Steffens was elected chairman. Second chairman was Frank Reusch, treasurer Gerhard Pierson, assessors Wolfgang Reh and Gerhard Lauber.

Valuable support is provided by the chairman of the loan club, Gerhard Weil, who contributed all his experience to the foundation.
