"Garden in Auvers"
The OGV-Langgöns taught the system of a raised bed as part of a workshop.
Of the numerous variants, the decision was made to use Euro pallets based on WDR's "Broadcast with the Mouse".
The raised bed must be maintained regularly. This includes watering, weeding and pruning the plants if necessary.
The water shortage not only affects the plants, but also the Hochbeet AG, which has to water regularly. In addition, the tomatoes do not want to ripen.
The members of the "Creating a raised bed" workshop had planted 14 vegetable, salad and spice plants, which could be guessed from the adjacent pictures or at an on-site appointment.
The following plants grow on the raised bed:
Red chard, green chard, green basil, red basil, cherry tomatoes, chives, pumpkin, lettuce, kale, paprika, parsley (curly), parsley (flat), orchard, chili
Opening hours:
every Tuesday and Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m
Martina Bischoff determined all the plants on September 6th, 2022 and thus won a harvest day on the raised bed.
The following vegetables were harvested on September 13th, 2022: Cocktail tomatoes, kale, chili, red chard, basil and reporting
The winner at "eye level" with the vegetable plants.
The prize for the correct answer to the vegetable puzzle: a basket full of vegetables from the raised bed
The OGV raised bed is very colorful in autumn, as shown by the chili fruits and the pumpkins that have been brought in. Furthermore, kale, chard, parsley and sorrel can be harvested.
